ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
This workshop is definitely worth attending. The Las Vegas Mariachi Program, implemented under the leadership of Marcia Neel, went from zero to one of the best programs in the country. Ten years ago the groups from Las Vegas were solid but quite basic. Today they are among the best in the nation. The Sweetwater School District brought Marcia in for workshops for all the mariachi instructors. I learned a great deal, even after 20 years of teaching mariachi music.
