Maestro Jose Hernandez will present his very popular Vocal Interpretation Master Class and focus on how to teach students to use their voices and the lyrics to create a passionate, inspiring performance. In addition, he will work with each level individually to teach authentic performance practice style.

This workshop is definitely worth attending. The Las Vegas Mariachi Program, under the leadership of Marcia Neel, went from zero to one of the best programs in the country. Five years ago the groups from Las Vegas were solid but quite basic. Today they are among the best in the nation. The Sweetwater School District brought Marcia in for workshops for all the mariachi instructors. I learned a great deal, even after 20 years of teaching mariachi music. Mark Fogelquist
